You Haven’t Missed These Fall Events
Here are a few ideas for fun fall activities in our local community.
Today we wanted to share some local places that are perfect for fall fun. Even though October is over, there are plenty of great events left to come in the Greater Charlotte area.
The Windy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill in York, South Carolina, is open weekends through December. They offer hayrides and cider samplings. This is a great place to spend the day with family, and if you’ve closed on a home with us, you may have gotten a bottle of their awesome hard cider.
"You have to check out the Carolina Renaissance Fair this time of year."
You might like to celebrate your heritage at the Scottish Highland Games at Clover High School on November 13. You can watch the games, enjoy the food, check out the vendors, listen to live music, and even chuck some pumpkins.
At the Carolina Renaissance Festival in North Carolina, you can feast like royalty while cheering on mounted knights and shopping at the artisan market. It runs on weekends from October 2, to November 21. It’s one of my personal favorites — you have to try their turkey legs and pickle-on-a-sticks.
Fall is a great time to check out your local farmers market. The largest one in our area is the Charlotte regional farmers market. It’s managed by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, and it is especially bustling this time of year. You can get all your regional produce here.
It’s time for today’s dad joke: Why did the ghost go into the bar? For the boos. If you’re ever looking for more information about this or anything else real estate-related, feel free to give us a call. We’d love to be a resource for you.
