Holiday Activities for the Whole Family
Here are four holiday events full of cheer for the whole family.
With the holiday season upon us, we thought it would be great to share our favorite local places to go for holiday fun: 1. Christmasville. This is one of the most magical holiday events, and it’s right in our backyard. From December 3 through 5, the historic city of Rock Hill becomes a winter wonderland, complete with all the festive trimmings required to kick off the holiday season right. With over 70 activities for kids of all ages and more Christmas lights than we can count spanning the entire month of December, this festival is not to be missed! 2. McAdenville, North Carolina. Also known as Christmastown, U.S.A., the town comes alive each year as the holiday season approaches. Almost overnight, McAdenville is transformed as lights and decorations don almost every inch of the town. Whether you choose to drive through it or park and enjoy a stroll, bring plenty of friends and family to enjoy the festivities and listen to the sounds of the season as bells play Christmas carols.
"Enjoy all of these yuletide events!"
3. Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. They have hot cider, live music, and great plants to see. The holiday festivities run from November 26 through January 2. Sing along to your favorite holiday tunes as you take in the rolling lights of the Piedmont Prairie and twinkling cherry trees. You can grab a bite to eat from the food trucks, roast marshmallows beside the fire, and sip warm and cold beverages to soak up the season’s cheer. 4. Lowry’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade. This event offers a unique peek into the past as it only allows farm equipment, livestock, and walking entries. Local personalities add to the charming character of this event. Always at 1 p.m. on the Saturday before Christmas (December 18 this year), this parade is sure to get you into the holiday spirit. Dad joke of the day: What did one snowman say to the other? Do you smell carrots? We love lousy dad jokes from Mike! If you ever have questions about buying or selling a home or anything else real estate-related, give us a call or send an email. Seasons greetings to you and your family!
