I was born and raised in Tanzania, located on the eastern coast of Africa. I came to America in 2008 and made my new home in Spartanburg. I fell in love with everything the Upstate area has to offer and I haven't moved since. There is something so special about being close to the mountains, lakes, oceans, and cities.
When my family bought their first home the experience was a rollercoaster ride! The stress and complications and not knowing what to expect left another surprise at every turn. We worked hard to ensure my family was getting the best deal and the home they truly wanted. In the end, the happiness on the faces of my parents was just undeniably the most humbling feeling ever. That was when I knew I could serve others and better my community in ways I never thought possible.
