A few years back I read, and laughed out loud at, a parody headline that said "Horrified Man Suddenly Realizes He's Putting Down Roots In Charlotte." Art really does imitate life. I moved to Charlotte in 2015 for the same reason that many people do, a job. It was the safe and logical next move in my insurance career to head to a larger city to work for a larger company with a household name. It didn’t happen all at once but about the same time that I was falling in love with our city’s atmosphere, culture, food, and entertainment I was growing less satisfied with my very transactional line of work. I take great satisfaction in meeting new people, building relationships, identifying the problem, and delivering the solution.
